PIPE EDGE FOR TOE CLOSER

Ppe edge for Toe Closers: the next generation for

defect-free hosiery production

In the industrial hosiery sector, professionals who use toe closer machines are well aware of the importance of every single component—including the final tube. Traditionally made of plastic with a central steel ring, the final tube is an essential part of standard toe closers, whether used alone or in combination with other machines for sewing women’s tights.

Over time, through technical experience and continuous dialogue with our customers, we identified a critical limitation in traditional final tubes. The uneven surface created where plastic meets steel often caused snagging and thread pulls, resulting in damaged hosiery and an increased defect rate in the finished product.

To permanently overcome the issues associated with traditional toe closer pipe edge, we’ve developed an innovative solution. Following an in-depth technical analysis, we eliminated the central steel ring and coated the entire tube with a special nano-ceramic layer, the result of a close collaboration with a team of university researchers.

This advanced technology offers a perfectly uniform surface, enhanced wear resistance, and a significant reduction in the risk of thread pulls or damage to tights during the sewing process.

Despite its high-tech features, the new final tube remains fully compatible with photocell detection systems and is available in standard diameters: 35 mm [AD007R2], 38 mm [D023004], and 40 mm [D123002].

It’s a high-performance solution that doesn’t affect your production costs, as the price remains unchanged.

If you manufacture hosiery and are looking for maximum production efficiency, now is the perfect time to test a component that truly makes a difference. Contact us today, or visit our headquarters in Castel Goffredo to discover the latest innovations for the hosiery industry.
